Partners – Security Risk Management Plans

What we are looking for:
SICE is constantly strengthening innovation in order to progress and stand out from our nearest competitors and provide new higher-quality products in increasingly demanding and competitive technology sectors and markets.
In terms of ensuring security and tunnel operation conditions and preventing combined physical and cyber threats to critical infrastructure, SICE is actively researching about new security solutions more accurate, efficient and cost-effective. We are looking for potential European Partners & Consortium (industry and start-up companies, national and international research and development organizations, and policy decision makers with a focus on technology) working on the SU-INFRA01-2018-2019-2020 call and focused to the transport segment as a critical infrastructure.
We develop complex software solutions and IT platforms like SIDERA that carries out the integral management services for tunnels in cities like Madrid and Zaragoza. The SICE tunnel control system allows integration and control of any equipment or system including energy systems; ventilation equipment; lighting, emergency and individual lighting control; filtering and pumping stations; tunnel environment sensors; fire detection and extinguishing systems; access control and surveillance of technical areas and switchboards; CCTV system; checkpoint control; and emergency exists. We are analyzing the opportunity to integrate these systems with safety and evacuation plan simulations against both physical and cyber threats. These systems could include integral action plans and tests as a response for emergency scenarios. Partners with expertise on safety risk management plans integrating both physical and cyber-attacks to critical infrastructure are much really appreciated.
On the other hand, we want to strongly promote collaboration opportunities with partners from Public Administration, Municipalities, Ministry of Public Works and Transport and Highway operators, to join new Consortium chances for H2020 proposals focused to combat cyber-attacks and threat situations where we can provide the I2V-V2I cooperation services based on Cellular V2X or ITS G5 Access Layer technology.

What we offer:
SICE develops and implements comprehensive solutions for the management and control of tunnels, working on both the security and control and the electromechanical aspects of the facilities, as well as managing their maintenance and operation. SIDERA is a comprehensive tunnel management system based on centralized monitoring and distributed control of installed systems and equipment. It manages more than 2.500kms of roads and more than 160km if tunnels worldwide.
The system’s objectives are:
- Improve user safety in tunnels.
- A reduction in operating and maintenance costs.
- Intelligent accident management and equipment maintenance.
- Improved system and infrastructure.
- Efficient control of integrated system equipment.
The system, which is modular and open, can be modified for each operating plan and different types of equipment. The design engineering and system characteristics allow integration within a sole display and command interface for all Tunnel elements.
SICE has the ability to design, develop, install, maintain and operate all levels of comprehensive tunnel management system hardware and software:
Level 0 – Control Centre
Level 1 – Communications
Level 2 – Local Network, road site units, PLCs
Level 3 – Onsite systems and equipment
