TUBITAK MAM Energy Institute Partnership

What we are looking for:
We are looking for some opportunities to involve such a consortium within our capabilities for the next HORIZON Calls for Energy. We are interested in the following calls:

Upscaling renewable fuels production
 LC-SC3-RES-22-2019: Development of next generation biofuel and alternative renewable fuel technologies for aviation and shipping
 LC-SC3-RES-25-2020: Development of next generation biofuel and alternative renewable fuel technologies from CO2 and renewable energy (Power and Energy to Fuels)

Enabling near-zero CO2 emissions from fossil fuel power plants and carbon intensive industries
 CE-SC3-NZE-2018: Conversion of captured CO2
Smart citizen-centered energy system

Smart citizen-centered energy system
 LC-SC3-ES-7-2019: Pan-European Forum for R&I on Smart Grids, Flexibility and Local Energy Networks
 LC-SC3-ES-1-2019-2020: Flexibility and retail market options for the distribution grid
 LC-SC3-ES-4-2018-2019-2020: Decarbonising energy systems of geographical Islands

What we offer:
Energy Institute (EI) is one of the eight institutes operating under TÜBİTAK MAM. TUBITAK MRC EI conducts applied research on advanced energy technologies, namely hydrogen production technologies both from fossil fuels and renewable, coal to hydrogen and coal to liquid fuel technologies, advanced solid and gas fuels combustion technologies, tailor made gas clean-up technologies, all at lab and pilot scale.

The Centre has the operational research groups such as Gas Technologies; Combustion and Gasification Technologies; Thermal Power Plant Technologies; Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Technologies; Battery Technologies; Vehicle Technologies; Power Systems Information Technologies; Power Systems Analyzing and Planning and Automation Technologies.

We would like to support project consortiums with our expertise such as "alternative fuels and CO2 research", "catalysis production & tests", "process simulation and reactor design" subjects.

Topics:
  • WP Energy/Environnement
    • LC-SC3-SCC-1-2018-2019-2020: Smart Cities and Communities
    • LC-SC3-RES-23-2019: Development of next generation biofuel and alternative renewable fuel technologies for aviation and shipping (aviation & shipping transport)
    • LC-SC3-RES-3-2020: International Cooperation with USA on alternative renewable fuels for energy and transport
