What we offer:
Climate Analytics is an international non-profit organisation, established in 2008. Our headquarter is based in Berlin, Germany, with branches in New York, USA, Lomé, Togo and Perth, Australia with staff and associates across Europe, South America, Australia, Africa, Asia, the Pacific and the Caribbean. The organisation’s main mission is to synthesise and advance scientific knowledge in the areas of climate change. By linking scientific and policy analysis, we provide state-of-the-art solutions to global and national climate change policy challenges.

We have a broad range of capacities, interests and track record on climate change issues that are directly relevant to contemporary challenges:

Implementing the Paris Agreement – low carbon energy transformation including coal phase-out plans, implementation of country plans (NDCs)
Advancing scientific knowledge around the 1.5°C temperature limit
Science for adaptation and management of climate risks
Science based guidance for climate finance and transformational investment
Designing the rules for implementing the Paris Agreement

Our multi-disciplinary team has a very strong scientific basis in all the main areas of climate change, and we believe one of its key values is that we produce highly policy and scientifically robust relevant work that is designed to keep national, regional and global moving efforts forward.

A major focus is on high quality, policy relevant research and advice in relation all key aspects of the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C temperature limit. Through its unique position at the interface between science, policy and practice, and with its excellent international networks, Climate Analytics has established itself as a strategic knowledge partner for key matters concerning climate research and policy. As one measure of this Climate Analytics was recently ranked 12 out of 244 think tanks globally.

Climate Analytics has strong links to vulnerable countries, and has a team providing legal and scientific support for Small Island Developing States and Least Developed Countries at the UNFCCC negotiations and scientific support for the Climate Vulnerable Forum.
We have long-established relationships with major regional institutions in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific, serving Small Island Developing States and Least Developed Countries.

In addition Climate Analytic well connected to key government and policy makers in major countries in Europe, Canada, USA, Latin America, Africa, South-east and East Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
