Intelligent and smart mobility research theme at University of Leicester

What we are looking for:
We are looking to join a consortium where we can contribute our research environment. Areas of specific interest are CAV, rail, avionics, space. Domains of interest may be civil, commercial, or defence. Contributions may be high or low TRL levels; and applied or theoretic.

What we offer:
Applied (high TRL) and blue skies (low TRL) in technologies supporting and leading to future technologies for intelligent mobility - including software engineering, communications, signal processing, data analytics, machine learning and AI, power, and space applications. Interests in passenger mobility, freight mobility, autonomous systems, robotics.

Topics:
  • WP Energy/Environnement
    • LC-SC3-SCC-1-2018-2019-2020: Smart Cities and Communities
  • WP Transport
    • LC-MG-1-9: Upgrading transport infrastructure in order to monitor noise and emissions
    • LC-MG-1-10: Logistics solutions that deal with requirements of the 'on demand economy' and for shared-connected and low-emission logistics operations
    • MG-2-7: Safety in an evolving road mobility environment
    • MG-2-8: Innovative applications of drones for ensuring safety transport
    • DT-ART-04: Developing and testing shared, connected and cooperative automated vehicles fleets in urban areas for the mobility of all
